Keeper of the Palaestra, 2008
I am working on a collaborative installation with Dylan Reece
for an exhibition in Dallas, TX called Vicious Pink. It opens this
Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Central Trak, opening reception
from 6-8pm, and will be on view through January 20, 2009.

Curated by Mary Benedicto, this exhibition pushes pink fromFollowing the exhibition opening, I will be doing a short artist
the subversive to the hyperreal. Artists enlist pink materials
to the hilt while straddling the line between high art and camp.
Vicious Pink hopes to assert that high art and camp can co-exist.
The show offers thoughtful commentary on the use of pink through
symbolic references, material and design.
residency, ending with an artist talk at Central Trak on Thursday,
December 4, 2008 at 7pm. I will be doing another artist talk in
Houston, TX on December 6, 2008 at 2pm as part of FotoFest's
VIEWFINDER exhibition.
