Scotty Hays
(guitar, vocals)

Scotty, who turned 21 in December of 1998, comes from the Bay Area. At an early age he started up the Struggle Buggies, who later would morph into his present band, the Receivers. In between these bands he played in the group Redemption 87. Scotty is known as a true musician, and besides mastering several styles of guitar, also plays such instruments as laptop steel (country & western) and blues harmonica. He currently works at Univibe, a music store in Berkeley.
